I can't believ you guys had to actually had to call/email fish and game to figure out why you didn't draw a tag. Is it really that hard to comprehend? Talk about something continually on the internet about being a sure and wonderful thing and you can garantee at some point it will no longer be that way. The high hunt is a great example. God work once again internet
They will be selling a lot more multi season deer tags now so I don't see them increasing the number, or the price. With the unsold tags now going back up for sale August 1st, it's likely all 8,500 will be sold. In the past the WDFW said they really didn't want to issue that many tags, but drew 8,500 people, knowing that a high percentage of those drawn would not purchase the tag.
I would like to see harvest statistics of multi season applicants, how many days they hunted, which season they were successful in and whether they hunted more than one weapon season to get their animal.
It says in the regs online that the leftovers go on sale.
Quote from: Chesapeake on April 21, 2015, 09:25:47 PMIt says in the regs online that the leftovers go on sale."at the discretion of the department". Does not mean they HAVE to sell them, just that they can..Really hoping they do!
