They will be selling a lot more multi season deer tags now so I don't see them increasing the number, or the price. With the unsold tags now going back up for sale August 1st, it's likely all 8,500 will be sold. In the past the WDFW said they really didn't want to issue that many tags, but drew 8,500 people, knowing that a high percentage of those drawn would not purchase the tag.
I would like to see harvest statistics of multi season applicants, how many days they hunted, which season they were successful in and whether they hunted more than one weapon season to get their animal.
It says in the regs online that the leftovers go on sale.
