Joel Turner podcasts on Sharpsticks.tv
«

Hey folks,
I did a couple of podcasts for Chris Wambeke on sharpsticks.tv. One is on Instinctive Elk Calling and the other is on the Mental Mechanics of Shooting. Check them out and leave some comments for Chris and I.
Thanks,
Joel Turner

Thanks for sharing on here, Joel!

I downloaded it and have shared with my friends. I had the same thoughts and this answered a lot. Great work and can't wait to try it.

I sputter my lips to get that rasp in the end of the bugle. The tighter you purse your lips, the higher the pitch the rasp will be. By relaxing your lips and sputtering them, the rasp will be lower and slower. I use a fairly high pitch rasp for the BCC bugle.

Last month I was shooting down at skookum archers when I hear a bugle from the parking lot I said to the group I,was shooting with "holy **** that sounds pretty good". One guy in the group laughs and says it should it's Joel Turner he's one of the best in the world.
