I thought that some people didn't draw deer combos?  How are there deer combos available?

The inside info I got was incorrect, there were 600+ returns and somehow the numbers were all messed up, it was a surprise to everyone, but there are leftovers in all 3 categories.

That was certainly a good guesstimate!

Most outfitter bookings seem to be up, the industry fully expected and was actually informed that deer tags appeared to be oversubscribed. As I mentioned it turns out in the end there were over 600 returns before licenses were drawn. We expected some leftover elk/deer combos and possibly some elk, but the leftover deer licenses are a pleasant surprise! Glad to see it!
