Lake Roosevelt.
« on: April 16, 2015, 06:20:53 PM »
I'm headed over to Roosevelt for the first time to camp and fish Saturday and Sunday. I'm goin to be fishing for walleye and trout in the lower river around spring canyon. How has the fishing been and what technique has been working? Thanks for any advice.

Are you taking a boat? Trout fishing has been really good from the bank and boat, power bait has been working good. Not sure about the walleye fishing down there. Good luck

Well if I were you I would boat up stream to the mouth of the sand poil for walleyes, bass and trout, that will be your best chance at numbers of walleyes right now.
