Father in law is curious on any info anyone could give about unit 46 hunting in Idaho. Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the specific unit but that part of Idaho has some quality bucks. I would look for the harder to access areas for the better bucks.

If you try to hunt along the snake it's going to be private, but there is a large portion of the unit that is BLM, get into those more remote pockets away from the roads, I've heard there is some decent deer hunting. There are cougar in there too, remember, in Idaho you can use your deer tag on a cougar and then buy another deer tag, there have been plenty of leftover deer tags.
