Dang.  That's the fastest draw to shoot timing I've seen in any hunting. It looked like you never got to full draw, anchor, or aim before the arrow was gone. And you were thumping them! Good video!

Thanks, shooting a few hundred times a day makes a huge difference. Todd, not sure if you bowfish but I'm looking for someone in your area for info. We really would like to come up there and host an event. I know that there use to be a tournament hosted there in the 90's. I've even heard there are some big fish to be had.

There used to be a tourney here. It may even still live on without any advertising, but i don't know. I can say that my wife and I were walking along the river yesterday, sat down on a park bench to rest and enjoy, and I saw a carp jump about 30 feet from shore which I told my wife was an 18 pound fish. And I guessed on the low side of what I saw. It was a 30" fish, no question.

Can you tell us more about that bow and reel you both were using?
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

Sure looked shorter than 91 feet :chuckle:

Very nice shooting.  Reminds me of the old days when Whackmaster and I used to put the hurting on them.  Now we just float around shooting arrows into the water for fun :o
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Most turn into fertilizer. Some turn into Catfish and Crawfish bait.
