My first bear wasn't much bigger than a lab. Nothing wrong with that bear at all. Congrats!

Seldom does an animals size equate to the hunting experience when the wife and I are together.  We have both taken some good animals, but the ones we remember most are average animals in spectacular moments together.  Sounds like it was a good experience for the both of you.  And a nice bear to boot!  Congratulations

Hope you got a nap before heading home.  That drive is daunting even with a good nights sleep!

Spot on radsav! It was a great experience. No nap it was a long drive   . I am very satisfied with my bear plus bear meat is outstanding!
