You could now build yourself an AR pistol in not-so-popular rounds like the .450 bushmaster, .50 beowulf or .458 SOCOM and hunt deer in Firearm restricted areas and follow the letter of the law for those areas (perhaps not the spirit). 

WDFW has allowed semi automatic handguns of calibers larger than .40 (10mm) for approved use in firearm restricted areas.  Good for them, sounds like I need to build a .450 bushmaster upper for my AR pistol lower.

I have a .450 Bushmaster. I love it. But I don't think you could go wrong no matter what round you choose.

I would assume so... but why would you want to shoot a .450 out of a barrel shorter than 4"

rifles, or to fail to comply with additional firearm
restrictions, except as established below.
In firearm restriction areas, hunters may hunt

hunt during muzzleloader seasons with

  It may be legal under WDFW rules, but a lot of firearms restriction areas are also covered under county laws that restrict all firearm use whether it is rifle, pistol, or muzzle loader.

Better be careful. Most of these are local regulations and not WDFW regs or on top of WDFW regs.

My son and I use a .480 and a .454 Casull. They are Ruger super Redhawks with 2 to 7 Burris scopes. Shot a 235# 5x5 mulie last year at 80 yards and it collapsed in its tracks. The Casull will cause a loss of your left one at every trigger pull.

Rifles are not legal in firearm restricted areas.
