Elk sheds as they lay

I have found sets before but never a set laying as is like this.  He deffinately popped them both off at the same time for them to land on the ground like this.

Wow.... That's cool.  8) Was it in a bed? I don't have pics, but a friend found a similar set several years ago, not quite that perfect but very close. It was an obvious bed and I assume they both popped off the front when the bull gathered himself to stand.

Is that possible ? they look way to perfectly displayed .. they even touch each other at the tips .. :dunno:  Good find for sure  :tup:
