Never harvested a bear, ive missed 5 of em. :bash: all 400plus yard shots. But i have watched my father kill 3 right in front of me. And ive had 4 different other hunters get them in our camp while hunting them. I hope to get my first this fall. Im ready to break the curse.

Getting inside 50 yards is a good way to break the curse :chuckle:
Ive almost hit one on a 80 Susuki dirtbike while driving up logging roads in 105 Kelly Hill area. There are a TON of bear up their by the Canadian border. Ones got my name on their hide this fall.

I will remain a member of the 0 bear club until I can set aside the money (3 kids, 2 on the way) to have the taxidermy done well. I may have to give up hunting a few other things for a season to be able to swing that, but as it stands I just have too much fun chasing whitetails and turkeys to give it up for a season.
There is something just indescribably painful about being stuck behind a prius on the interstate.

Left the club in 2010. 2009 was the first year I targeted them specifically. I have never seen one while hunting deer or elk.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Once you start targeting them you see a lot of deer.   :chuckle:

Just an update, I left the club May 31st 2015. Took a young boar(idfg says he looks to be about 3 years old), chocolate color phase. Put a lot of miles on my boots this spring just to end up shooting one on the last day I was able to hunt literally with moments left and within about 300 yards of camp. I'll post more along with pics later if I can figure out how

I've never got a bear.  Hoping that changes with a bit of luck in August.

I'll keep trying in the fall.  I think I'm done with the spring draws, and a couple others
