I went by myself on Thursday, and limited, and took a friend Friday and got two limits. Walleye are biting, if you can deal with the wind!! Friday was pretty calm, Thursday was quite gusty. the pic is Fridays haul.

You and I were fishing the same spot on Friday.   Your boat is the alumaweld, if I remember correctly.   I remember fishing around one from time to time.

I'm not big on lengthy fishing trips.  We went out  twice on Friday, once in the morning until around noon and then from 6-7:30 that night.   We missed limiting by one fish.   We were in my buddy's 16' Lund.  My buddy caught some bouncing bladebaits.  All mine were on a smile blade/slow death hook rig.  I'm lazy.

We were out in a 16' Lund.  I think the count was we missed limiting by one fish.  In any case that was more than a meal and it's a shame to waste fish.

Boats aren't in the same spot this week. Don't know if the fish moved or the fishermen are just out exploring.

If I base fish location based off boat location... then the fish are right under my driveway.

Anybody ever try dragging a strip of walleye about the size of a worm?

Many times perch meat outfishes worms and have never heard of anyone doing it for walleye.

Fished Moses today.  I lost the 0800 hour due to the teacher walkout.  Had to run back to the dock and snag my little fishing buddies. We ended up with 7, 19 to 21 inchers. Lots of smalleye and perch. Pretty fun to see the kids to battle with the fish. Was all they could do to lift them up to get netted!

Those are quality fish, wish I could have found a few more in that size range last weekend. Did you have a chance to fish that "other" flat? BTW, pleasure meeting you on the water.

Nice batch of fish.   I'm down in Sisters, Oregon right now fishing the Metolius and surrounding rivers.   We're dining tonight on Moses Lake walleye..... yum.   Will be back home in a couple of days.   We did our best fishing the Crooked River out by Prineville.

All those came from the first spot. I did give the other spot a try this morning on my way home. Picked up 3 there, got 4 at the other place. Could not get the last one today. Left a little early to avoid the chaos at the launch.

Bill, what you fishing for down there?

We came down with another couple for a week of fly fishing for trout.  Fished the Metolius and the Crooked River.  So far no love on the Metolius but did find trout every day we fished the Crooked.

No fishing for me today, I am staying away from the launch/lake. Some of the boats zipping around out there sound like they have Nitro methane motors. What a zoo!!

We will be home tomorrow.  I'm debating on whether to go out on Monday or wait until Tuesday until the working vacationers depart for their life of quiet desperation (and work).

On a side note three more of my Boeing ex-coworkers retired yesterday.
