Some NW Oregon rosey sheds!
« on: May 04, 2015, 10:29:35 PM »
I spend a TON of time in the woods here in the Northwest corner of oregon. Those of you who live nearby know how thick and brushy and just simply how hard it is to find sheds around here, or maybe I just have bad luck. I've been hunting since I was of age at 12, every deer and elk season since then (I just turned 24 last month) the last 5 years i've been setting up and checking trail cams, and besides that I spend a ton of time out in the woods just exploring, scouting, and fishing and I've found a few small deer sheds and a few small deadheads over the years. Years ago I found a fresh spike bull shed laying by the fence in our yard and that was my only elk shed until recently.

A couple weeks ago I FINALLY had some good luck when I found a little 4pt bull shed laying in the clovers next to a creek. I was so pumped about it and couldn't stop thinking about finding more. So last week one of my good buddies went out again looking for more, and I stumbled on a beautiful fresh 5x5 set laying 2 feet apart. I couldn't believe it and was so stoked. I still am super stoked about it and am itching to find more! Enjoy!
