The thought with the a frame was that I could leave the poles at home to save weight and make some in the woods with branches or rope tied to trees to hold the peaks up. But I have no idea if that's possible, I guess depending on the tent it could be. And the only other person that would sleep in there with me would be the wife so being close isn't a problem. Adam, not happening with you, sorry.

Well shoot that sucks.  :chuckle: I camped a few times in it with my ex and we were more than comfortable

I might take you up on the offer to try it. But I also have a new thought in my head for an early bear hunt that you might need that tent for yourself.

Ok, got the tent in my camper at my brothers place. If ed or tom do show up for the wedding, I will give it to one of them to give to you next weekend.
