 :yeah:

Do you mind sharing where you ordered the chicks?  I've been thinking about getting some birds for eating and dog training.

We raise and sell them to guides, dog and falcon trainers, for people to eat them. Were licenses through the state. Anderson we order our birds out of Idaho and they're flown here.

so this is an important point. to sell, you must have license. I get mine here, note they will not ship quail, too fragile... I am planning on hatching eggs for quail next year too... the process is fairly easy but young like this picture they are very fragile...

Lots of places you can order quail eggs from.  Shop around because prices vary big time.

We are licensed to sell our birds. We do vet checks and other things as well so we can be 100 percent up to code for selling game birds

Try raising turkey poults     you've not met stupid until you try to keep poults from not drowning themselves.

I was told they're pretty much suicidal.
