So if you read the article you are probably wondering why this is in the wolf section.
Seems to be all about Lynx but they are restricting the size of traps in these areas to no more then 5 3/8 jaw spread. That will put an end to any wolf trapping in these areas. No way you can hold a wolf in that size trap and I don't believe wolf snares are legal in MT.
Incidentally I find it hard to believe any of the restrictions will deter a lynx from getting caught. A few more lynx will get caught and released and there will be round two of the lawsuit.
