Building Permit Points
« on: May 11, 2015, 10:29:47 AM »
My dad was smart enough to start putting me in for special hunt points before I could realize what they actually meant. By 24 years old I had been lucky enough to draw a couple good hunts and I cant thank him enough for  being pro active. I am now a father of my own son of 1 year and the thought crossed my mind, is there any way I can start building ghost points for him before he is old enough to have his hunter education courses and start hunting himself?? I am not sure if this is possible or not. Has anyone gone this route with their kids and if so how did you go about it?

Go on the website and try, I suspect you will get your answer real quick!

Good thought, good luck, hope it works out.

Buy fishing license no course required, ghost hunt choices.

Oil points only until they go through hunters safety. My 6 year old has 5 points and 3 year old has 3 points for all oil categories. Use the soc.# to get them a wild ID then buy the apps and submit for points.

He can ghost point moose, goat, and sheep only. Everything else requires a hunting license.

Well this might be a good year for points with the dry season potentially coming up. That and the closure of the Entiat river road. Hopefully people are taking that into consideration when applying for tags.
