I would be doing a little research before offering to help anyone build a gun, especially after I594.  It's perfectly acceptable to build your own... key words being "build your own".  There have been cases where people were having others finish the 80% lowers for them, and it didn't work out so well for either party.

Do you understand "help build"? I am not building anything for anybody. That requires a gunsmith license. There is no law when it comes to assisting or helping another individual build there own. Is there a law for being a coach of a soccer team. The coach is  not playing the game for the player. He is assisting or coaching. So chicken little, keep watching if the sky is going to fall. You do your own research and build your own, because I will not help you.

People have had visits from ATF for letting people use their mills to finish lowers.  Big boy rules here, just being friendly.

That is still different then building a AK with someone guiding you while you do everything yourself. The situation you posted was that they were charging for the use and even then I would still have to say that the ATF still could not do anything as long as the owner of the lower was doing ALL of the work to complete the lower.

You are talking apples and oranges. A pre programed CNC machine for completeing an AR is not same thing. Somebody with the knowledge, has to program the CNC machine. Building an AK does not require a CNC machine. Plus your example is from the republic of California. A whole different set of rules. In my case that you are trying to bunk, there is no CNC programing involved. For that matter, there are tons of how to videos on you tube. If somebody uses my tooling and uses the info from you tube. Is you tube in violation? I am not sure what you are trying to prove here? All across the country, there have been AK build parties. Check out the "AKforums.com or "The akfiles.com" or even AR-15.com and the AK section and read there build forums. This is nothing new. It has been going on for a several years. If you decide to build your own, you better think about sooner than later. Since the states are taking away the private sale thing. The next target will be home manufacturing. They antis will not stop until they take your second amendment rights away. Once the second amendment is gone, the US constitution means nothing. How can you defend the constitution with out a second amendment? If you are so scared about building or helping someone build, you have already given in to the antis. I am not breaking any local or federal laws.
