Awesome hunt, something I'd like to do in the future.  Did you do anything with the skulls?

Right now my freezer is full of bison cut and wrapped into a variety of sizes...85-1lb packs of hamburger for example.  It was such a spiritual experience with my son best friend and my brother watching over...would be hard to re-create.  But forget the negatives and look at it for what it is an experience with one of the largest land  mammals that played a crucial part for the indigenous peoples.  Their size and abilities are truly spectacular.  This herd runs free, grazes on the plains and are not screwed with by man.  The price came out to $6/lb.  The head is being mounted, the hide tanned with the hair on and the skull will be cleaned not bleached to hang in a place of prominence.  If you haven't Do It...
