Is this the same bear?

Have been getting this bear on cam for about 3 years now, always assumed it was a boar, never any cubs, this year a cub showed up.  Does this appear to be the same bear?  I know its hard to tell, but I got two fairly similar shots of the ears.  Top pic is the bear last fall, the next are from this year.  Also, does their appear to be two cubs in the second pic???

Could be, would need more bear in the pics to say one way or the other, but they look to be of similar dimensions.

To me that top pic look like a sow anyways. Narrow face and small head compared to body. Young boars even seem to have blocky heads.

I was thinking the same thing.  Likely, you had a sow on cam a year ago, and now have a sow and cub on cam.
