My buddy has one.  If you want an O/U I think that they are worth price.  But I wouldn't pay much more.

Go to shotgun world and look around in gun opinions.

http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/index.php

In my opinion it would depend on how much the gun will be shot per year.  If your going to shoot a box of 25 here and there and take it out hunting, maybe you're OK.  If your going to put thousands of rounds through it per year then I would suggest you get a Browning, Weatherby, SKB, Ruger or something that will last.

I have heard that firing pin springs breaking on those a lot

Progressives are coming for your guns.
What are you going to do?

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.

I second that.  Personally would probably opt for a CZ over one of these if your budget won't allow you to get a better made gun.  I've heard too many horror stories regarding inexpensive doubles.

CZ are about $500 to $800 @ ables ammo. http://www.ableammo.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=9935_13769
I prefer a volvo made by Fausti Stefano.   http://www.faustistefanoarms.com/        at Cabela's they are about $969 on sale.

If you put it in a cars analogy.  A Remington Spartan is a Yugo; a CZ and the volvo are probably the Chevy; the Brownings, SKB, Ruger are the Cadilacs.
