I have a few 10/22's that have been modded, aftermarket barrels, bolts, headspaced, and none will shoot with my bolt action CZ.
I have no experience with the TC, but it looks like a winner.
Maybe shop for a Volquartsen 10/22.
If you want to burn ammo at pop cans, 10/22.
If you want to shoot tiny groups, there are other ideas.

Rugers are pretty accurate right out of the box but they need a brick or two ran through them to get cycling reliably.

I've owned a coupkle different 10/22's over the years, and the only time I ever missed what I was shooting at with one of them, it wasn't the gun's fault.  They shoot plenty good for anything you may want to shoot with a 22lr, unless your counting X-rings.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

I used to shoot match .22's for a little while. My dad was into it too. I had the opportunity to shoot LOTS of tricked out customs. With that, a ruger 10/22 can't even compare, but for the coin, they are fun guns. I actually had this link emailed to me this morning of a cool 10/22 site.

I think 10/22s or overrated, my dad has one, and it jams all the time, and I do take good care of it.  I like lever actions, whether its Winchester or Henry, lever actions are good, and and fun to shoot.

somethings wrong with it or you're shooting cheap ammo as fast as you can pull the trigger.
