My advice is go to Double Eagle Pawn on Sprauge. They have alot of diffrent 1911s, and their from $450.00-$900.00. They come with 30 day warranty meaning uf something is wrong with pistol, they will get you into one that is of equal value that works. Just a heads up my friend. Chow! :hello:

The Springfield "Champion" is a excellent handgun. Well known for their out of the box accuracy and "Bull" barrel contour. They were discontinued for a short while there and brought back by popular demand. It's been my main carry piece for some time. I liked the handgun enough to send it and 1400.00 bucks to Clark Custom and had it completely reworked. It did take several trips back to Clark to get the aftermarket grip safety and trigger dialed in, Clark Jr worked on it himself the last trip back, after that it has been a increadable performer.

:) everyone should own a 5 inch steel frame 45 1911, you cannot go wrong with a Springer or Kimber.

I have a friend who bought a Brazilian-assembled Springer and it was rough as a cob.
Springfield agreed to have a look at it on their dime and it came back better but not what I would expect.
Just one man's experience.
