I have a bear and my buddy has a deer with him since OCT 1st.  He told me 6 months and I called in early April to see if it was ready and was told it was drying and be another 30-60 days.  I called this last Monday and the phone was shut off!  I drove down there because its only 10 mins from my house and the grass is 4ft tall in the front yard with vines growing all over.  There was no cars there but the front porch light was on and I knocked on the door but nobody answered.  I went behind the house to his shop where the work was done and there was a light on.  I knocked but nobody answered.  Looking in the glass door I could see a STACK of euro mounts and like a dozen deer heads just sitting there rotting away.  There was a bunch of high end tools and other things of value so I was thinking maybe it was not abandoned and he would be back.  I went again yesterday but same story no cars and no answering.  I knocked on his neighbors door and asked if he had seen him, she said I was not the first to knock asking about that house.  She said that he had rarely been there and that some time ago he had hooked up to a camp trailer and not been back since.  I don't know if anyone on here as a contact for him or not but I am guessing my buddy and I are out a couple hundred dollars but just want our animals back!  Don't know if next contact should be police or WDFW or what?  If you have anything there you more than likely have a problem as well!

I took my pronghorn antelope I got in Wyoming to cascade taxidermy. I paid 302.50 for the up front payment for the shoulder Mount. I tried calling today to check on the progress of the work being done. The business number is no longer in service and no answer on his cell phone. I called the county sheriff to see if they had any complaints. They told me I needed to call the BBB so I did!  The better business bureau said I should call the attorney General of Washington. I just want my hide and head or horns I'm really unhappy about this whole thing. If there are more people out there that have the same problem with this place let's get together and all complain. I believe what Nathan has done is as bad as a poacher!!  I would go as far as to say he is a theif if he does not fix this.

I am having same problem, dropped off a Missouri white tail buck on November 23, 2013. He said it would take a year, after one year I called him he said he is back logged , lost a employee and would be getting the buck done in Feb.  2014. He still has not contacted me and his phone is disconnected. I filed a complaint with BBB, but not sure if that will help. He has a FB page and apparently he went to the Chambers Bay golf tourney, as he has posted pictures from there. His name is Nathan Neideigh. He is from Myrtle Point Oregon. The least he could of done was got hold of us and gave us back our hides/heads if he was unable to finish them. My hunt was a once in a lifetime hunt, the buck was not huge but it was my one and only Missouri White tail. If ANY BODY  knows where to find him please post here. This is a rotten thing to do. I paid him $285.60 for nothing. Its not about the money its about a memory and dream hunt.
Nathan if you see these post, you need to step up to the plate and fix your wrong doings, this will always haunt you.

Totally agree.   Dealing with taxidermists is scary.  So is contractors at times, but at least you have some codes and laws that may help.  To me it is the same issue with guides.  Many give all the good ones a bad name.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

You can't go wrong with Rick at Cedar River Taxidermy on the west side(Ravensdale) or another Rick at All That's Wild Taxidermy on the east side(Tieton). Both do great work and are active on this site. East side Rick has helped a number of hunters on this site too.
