JM, which distance in Badger? I've run the trails, but not the event. Road running and groomed trails bore me; mountain hiking trails don't. I don't run many running events; just run on my own mostly. Don't really run a lot actually, just enjoy distance running.BLR, any interest in running the PCT from Chinook to White? JM?
I just run the 12k's, they're fun and it only take a little over an hour so you don't get too bored.I'd like to run the PCT from white to Chinook, but between home projects, weddings, family trips and having a 14 month old little girl I hardly have time for anything. The badger run is already over but Grey rock is coming up in July you should look into and see if you want to try it out. Just to warn you the Grey Rock 25k & 50k are pretty brutal, but the 12k isn't too bad it's pretty much just straight up and straight down. Thanks for the invite though
Nope.

I was supposed to remind you so here it is.
Anyone thinking white to chinook (or visa versa) in a day?
Have you done it both ways? I am just wondering if it is better to fight the mosquito swarms at the beginning or end.
I mostly trail run at work. I actually studied what the Eco guys use to put together my elk gear to stay light. I don't think I could hang on a marathon run though, I think my back would be wrecked. Thanks for the info you gave me years back on the toutle. It was the last great hunt I had with my dad before he quit hunting.
I also agree that running south is easier. I also agree that is still a bit early but snow will clear faster this year than last.I will be in Goose Prairie on June 20th and can report back on snow depth. I am expecting most to be gone on trails by then this year.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
