Can I hunt deer in east and western Washington.
« on: May 25, 2015, 11:10:08 PM »
So this year I am trying find a spot near me that I can hunt, but, if I don't, I know someone back east that has a good spot set up for deer, bear, cougar even. So, the question is, can I get a licence and tag for deer and hunt east and western Washington?

Your deer tag is good for both east and west side

A deer tag is a deer tag, there is no east or west, it's good for the entire state. Doesn't matter if you choose an archery tag or modern firearm. You can hunt any of the general seasons listed in the reg's.

If you pay the fees , permit costs, parking fees , license fees, get your discover pass, donate to the save the wolf programs, know every law and regulation for what ever area, and learn the designated dress code for that area you can at least dream about hunting east or weast, im just guessing but if you ask that you might be a beginner and its all just a big dream... :o

SHH!! Quiet down before FWS splits it into east and west for a 'extra revenue source'

Too late there has already been talk of that. It goes right along with that great :Multi- Season" permit that used to cost $5.00 until they went to the "Choose Your Weapon."

The reason I'm asking is my dad says when he used to get his license and tag you had to pick east or west, and he is convinced you still have to.
