Sheesh! I think I'd ghost the bull category until I drew Quality. Prolly what you're doin. After (or if) I draw out on my pts. I'm never applying in WA again. All that money will go out of state.
That is what I have been doing, except this year they changed the dates on the muzzy permits in the blues so I ghosted my quality and went for my bull tag.  And your comment about never applying again once you draw out, I've talked to a few guys that say the same thing, including myself.  Except I will still put in for quality elk and deer, but I will only put in when I draw the multi season elk tag.  Not waiting 20+ years again to hunt branched antler bulls, Idaho gets most my money!
im hoping about 100 other people had the same idea as you! ;)

Left out a major number
Zero
Don't have any and won't ever have any as I refuse to give in to wdfW and their screwing of the hunters just for more money while they continue to mismanage the game yet get those that are willing to play their game to continue year after year to pay for something that should be included in the license season

5 and 5 here...I agree with some of you guys...that many points is ridiculous...Look at states like Wyoming; residents with that many points are only in it for moose and sheep tags. That's it. Everything else for them is random draw

I completely understand what I'm up against, I know it's a crap shoot.  I just think a certain percent should go to the highest point holders like Wyoming, one year when they had 3 tags for the permit I was trying for, 3 guys drew with 6,4, and 2 points.  This was only about 3 or 4 years ago, they had a ton of competition.  Those 3 guys were ridiculously lucky, anyway, it's never gonna work for all of us the way we want.  No biggie, I'm done with it when I do draw.

Some people obviously don't understand the setup of our draw system. There are very few choices on the Westside.  It is also next to impossible to hunt where you put in for as there are no general seasons along with very limited access.
Trophy good luck on your draw.  I think your chances are in the 10% range.

No offense but would you feel the same way if you were not going to be done buying these apps after you drew?No because if that many went to the highest point holders as was already said it would never come around to the guys that have say 15 points right now.Why because according to what a lot are saying 10s of 1000s of Washingtonians have 16-20 points right now.and with only a small % of tags the highest tag holders will never be the ones with 15 today. That being said,What number of points would you put into the highest points category or do you mean the actual highest number (20).All other numbers are not the highest point category until all others before them are gone?just want to have it right thats all.
