Just 1 for elk for me, I guess I should start ghost hunting to accrue points, haven't ever put in for a deer tag draw.
No reason to ghost point unless it's a east/west dilemma.  Someone has to draw the tag and if you ghost point it eliminates you completely.  Many great tags are drawn by low point holders. Good luck.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Wow, hope you don't put in for both quality or bull, a guy did that a couple years back with 18 pts and drew both little naches rifle and teanaway rifle bull. I would hate to miss out on a good opportunity another year.

Sheesh! I think I'd ghost the bull category until I drew Quality. Prolly what you're doin. After (or if) I draw out on my pts. I'm never applying in WA again. All that money will go out of state.

That is what I have been doing, except this year they changed the dates on the muzzy permits in the blues so I ghosted my quality and went for my bull tag.  And your comment about never applying again once you draw out, I've talked to a few guys that say the same thing, including myself.  Except I will still put in for quality elk and deer, but I will only put in when I draw the multi season elk tag.  Not waiting 20+ years again to hunt branched antler bulls, Idaho gets most my money!
