YYYUUUPPP !!! THERES TOO MANY, Talked to a guy last year who lives up there he told me best be hunting somewhere else or I better be a good shot at fast moveing targets because the critters are doing nothing but running for there lives all day and night,it was a very discourageing conversation to say the least, he was a old guy who lived up there for 53 years and said if he sees any we wont have woory about them but he says hes not good at moveing targets anymore but hes going to give them hell.

welcome to the forum.  There are far more than they say/think.  Tons of predators period in that area.......and south east of there...and west and well you get the point.

Interesting first post. I think you should pay attention to what is happening in your back yard. North bend is pretty close and you will get the natural wonders in your own back yard soon!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I see wolf tracks in that unit, other people have seen the wolves. There are areas that have not been impacted at all, but if you go where the wolves are living you will notice impacts. I definitely noticed a lack of calves with cow moose in numerous areas this spring.

:yeah:

I have seen 16 cow moose this year. Not one calf! Not even last years caves. Six of the cows had flank scares. Last year I saw 2 calves. They were in a back yard in liberty lake napping in the drainage swell
