Yes, Bobcat 15 minutes. The actual time was about 5 minutes.
When I drew my tag, I researched moose hunting and the videos I saw moose were shot with magnums at 300+ yards. The hunters waited and the moose fell over after about 10-15 minutes. The announcer said this was normal and not to run after the moose, but instead wait.
It worked for me with a 270.  I aimed for the lungs, since I did not want to damage the heart or liver. But to each his own.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

415 gr bullets I'm guessing 1300fps. (haven't chonyed)

 Does anyone remember the pending world record moose that was killed in canada last year or the year before ? I just remember reading a small article on it . But i do remember the guy was a local meat hunter and he used an good ol Canadian favorite .303 british . I personally would go with the .338  :twocents:
