Ok thanks! Great job on the ewe!! Ya I think I'd tell him to shoot that last one!  That's a dandy!  How long will these things be rutting?  Should we be in a hurry to get over there?

Yeah it is a must to have a GPS with a chip and a map for sure. I do understand why he would post a sign there because he does have land behind most of the BLM land and he doesn't what people on his land. With that being said I talked to people that said they have had issues with people that work for Reds fly shop trying to kick them off BLM land and claiming that it is private property which I do not agree with.

I talked to the biologists and from what I saw the rut is going full swing right now. But I'm not to sure how long it lasts?

If that's the case he should be posting the birder between his land and the blm. Its illegal to post public land as private, plain and simple.

I know I was really confused the first time I went over there. With all the private signs in front of the BLM land and not all but some of the BLM land was marked with public land access and right next to those signs were Eaton ranch signs.

Congrats. Haven't seen much rut activity in Manson, though the rams are guarding their ladies.

Thanks.  I have to take the above statement back.  As I was going through photos, I found this one, didn't even notice when I was taking it.   :chuckle:

Maybe you should get her "mounted" in the above position, might make for a great action diorama?  :chuckle:

I felt bad for my ewe because she had six rams chasing her down... the poor old girl!
