Entiat tag quality deer tag

 :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: Drew my first special permit ever. only thing is i dont know the area and was wondering if anybody here has drawn as well. I was hoping i would have drawn with my uncle or cousin but they didnt draw. im looking to be there for about a week if needed.

The roads are pretty decent.  You may want chains but can get around okay with a 2 wheel drive.  Lots of area from Potato, Mud, Crum and the Columbia River roads like Oklahoma Gulch.  If it is a mild winter with little snow hunt Potato, if the deer are mostly down, go up Crum or Mud.  Get a map.  If you scout, you will be looking at country and learning roads; don't expect to see deer until October/November. 
Biggest challenge will be keeping your finger off the trigger until you settle on the buck you really want.
