Thanks guys. Not the biggest buck on the mountain but who cares.  I hope all of you dads get to experience the same thing with your kids. The outdoors make for some amazing times with kids and family. Not sure what I'm going to do when she kills her 1st animal.
Awesome write up, super happy for you.

I can tell you when my oldest shot her first I was willing to go the rest of my life without killing another animal if I could just watch her.  Had the same feeling this year when the youngest shot her first deer.

Nothing better than getting the kids involved.  Good job for doing what it took to make it enjoyable for her and congrats on a your deer.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

Thanks Rick!!

Congratulations Josh on what I am sure will be one of the best days of your life.  Maybe not THE best, but probably top 10!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

A fall of firsts and hopefully a lifetime of memories after that.  Good on ya to get the girl going and excited.  Fine table fare for a multitude of meals this winter.

That's a nice buck, but the best part is you created a memory with the kiddo. Good job dad!

Good job, having recently taken my two  7 year olds out, I can appreciate how having kids along changes things in the field.  Awesome job.
