my cuz had that tag 2 years ago. The bow hunters had everything ran outta the easy spots by the time it was muzzie season. The big boys r down in that nasty drainage, however i never saw anything close to 300"  :twocents: still wish i drew it for archery though. good luck.

This is what I'm afraid of...

We'll see.  Good luck archers, I hope you get elk without disturbing the others... For my own selfish reasons.

I like this thread with lots of pictures...   The only thing that would make this thread better would be smell-a-vision.  LOL!!!

I just got time off for this hunt.  Stang now has to give my boss a pack of elk steaks so he better deliver.  I have anew pack coming this weekend just for this adventure.

Wonder how the archers are doing up there?

Looks like we might get some nastier weather.   :'(

I don't have all that fantsy Sitka gear.  I can't survive in the woods for more than a few hours.

I got my rain gear at big 5 for 35$...  Haven't melted yet.

Tomorrow we depart!  Even if it is raining, I'm still excited.  Wish I had some waterproof powder.
