I'm taking my father in law out hunting for his first time and he was lucky enough to draw a cow tag in his first go around. I'm excited for him, but still getting over my own disappointments on this years draw. I can't seem to find much info on the area. I know that there is a lot of private land and I've read that Trout Lake sees a bit of traffic. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Obviously not looking for any honey holes, just a few tips to point me in the right direction. I've personally only hunted elk one other time, so any elk advice would be great.
