How many points?

I don't know the area. its an OIL and usually people are more than willing to help out with those around here. Good luck, hit the gym, take lots of pictures.

Good job bowtech! I would start by going to Lucern (via Lady of the Lake if you don't have a 20'+ boat) and hike into Emerald Park via Domke Lake...also, get the book "Mountain Air, the life story of Gordon Stuart" and learn the history of the area...or where some of us call "home".

Not sure where you live but if your close to Puyallup I would be happy to meet up for coffee and go over some maps...also, give WDFW Bio Dave Volson a call at the Wenatchee office as well as the Chelan Co. PUD bio a call.

Awesome! Thanks. I will might take you up on that offer. I live near Vancouver. I am a high school teacher, so I will have a good amount off time off here in about a week.

What if the goats are at Box Canyon?  You could just call the Boat Company and ask where they are seeing them or the Forest Svc.

Congrats. I would love that tag. Cast and blast with the boat. Glass em up, hit the beach, stalk, shoot, back to the boat, drop a line for fresh fish dinner.

If your going to go into Domke why not have Chelan airways fly you to the lake then hike up to Emerald Park and hunt. only 170 bucks each way and you could take more gear for camp.!!

Bowtech,

The biologist you will want to contact is Von Pope...he works for Chelan County P.U.D., not WDFW...and helps keep tabs on the South Shore goats...I haven't really looked at the boundaries of the unit but if Devore Creek is included I recommend you check it out as well.
