It was 102 in pomeroy and 83 up top in the unit. Seen a few elk, deer, a ton of grouse and 1 bear. Set some trail cams up. Come on September.

Came through the mtns saturday evening before dark, thermometer said 62 by the Clearwater guard station. didn't feel too bad, great evening

Yep, I got it while hunting muzzy deer last year, parts of it continued on right into the modern firearm elk season with plenty of smoldering spots.

Would you guys recommend this tag? I have hunted in Dayton and Wenehas, but never ventured to that side of the blues. How rugged was it ? I sure love dropping in to bottoms and seeing elk everywhere.
