Loading the bull onto the trailer.  We packed it full with frozen bottles of ice and the outside hide was cold to the touch when we arrived at the registration/weighing center.

Great write-up and photos. Hard to beat the fall season in New England. Congrats on a great moose!

Looking forward to the pictures. I sure do miss that part of the country. Did you get to visit with DC while up there? Congrats on the moose!
I did not get to meet up with him.  We stopped by three different times but he was out trapping.  I did run into Anita several times though.

Congrats on a beauty. Love the photo with the horns and water.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Even though this is home now, these pictures make me a little homesick.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Thanks everyone.  It feels like we blinked and the hunt was done.  Maybe one day we can manage to pull another tag, I know I'm sure going to try every year.

Well done, Miles. I miss hunting that country a lot.
