Awesome.  What weapon are you guys going to do it with?  I can't wait to see pictures on this thread.  Hardwoods in fall, swampland and big dark moose with maple antlers.

Dad will be using a 6.5 x 55 and I'm going to carry along a .32 special that was passed down to me.  I'm just close range backup. ;)

Nice. An old lever gun seems fitting for this adventure.

Why does this thread make me hate my job?   :chuckle:  I've never felt so drawn to the East Coast before.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Oh this brings back painful memories.  I had a ton of points in the Maine Non-resident drawing for several years.  One year I moved and unbeknownst to me they send out there reminder cards 3rd class, which does not get forwarded.  When I called to find out why I had not gotten my postcard they said the deadline had happens a couple of days prior.  In Maine if you miss a year you lose all your points.  Ugh.......

Good luck, I hope you kill a big one!!!!

Is it October yet?  Plane tickets are bought and I'm ready for this adventure to begin already.  I've been talking with dad several times a week.  He's got a couple potential ones spotted, but the prime scouting time is just beginning.

The fun starts Monday the 12th. :IBCOOL:

Myself, my dad, and a family friend will be staying in this camp for the whole week.  It's way back in the sticks and in the heart of moose country.  I won't have cell or internet service, but I'll have some pictures to share once I get back to civilization.

We will be concentrating around the Kennebago Lake area (that's where the camp is).

Knock 'em down! Best of luck to all the hunters.
