It can be a tough hunt.  One nice one and a bunch of good ones in there now.  Spend a bunch of time looking at sheep so you know what your looking at when you pull the trigger.

+1, any help you need just ask.

Had my first scouting trip over 4th of July weekend.  The road I really wanted to go in was closed for fire danger but I was able to get in the swakane valley road and check some of that country out.  We saw a lot of sheep and a few nice looking rams, but I don't think they are what I want.  Got pictures of two of them through spotting scope.  Saw a lot of animals on this trip, some deer, one bear and a bunch of sheep.  It was a fun trip.  Thanks to everyone who has helped me out so far.

I would take the upper ram, no questions
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

He looks long.  I'd like to see better pics of him and from different angles.

Me too - but - he is a full curl with uniform mass to the 3rd quarter, and an inside curl big enough to stuff a volleyball inside.  I love all the chipping from past battles, and would never care if that reduced his score.  With that tag I might look around further, but he'd never fall off my list.

The one to the right would be good enough for me.  I would keep an eye on him and have someone else hold your bullets if you are going to hold out for the best sheep in the unit.  I would want someone along that really knows sheep to give me the go ahead that what I was shooting was close to as good as it gets.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
