Where are good spots to look for deer and bears on Mount baker? Tips would be greatly appreciated and is there elk up there too? Pm me

Big area ...just need to hike the trails and start scouting ..No sense in worrying about the elk unless you have a special permit ...

Right between Sherman peak and the summit there is a steamy deer bear elk hot tub they all sit up there and get drunk, it's easy pickings. When you see the steam coming out of the crater  you'll know you're in the right place.

Lots of hikers up there.  Drive till you can't and start walkin.  Be ready for glares and the occasional freaked out hippy.  The later the better.

he said he got one up there so... I don't really check out those permits I'm a low blacktail, eastern Washington guy
