selah butte any ram tag!
« on: June 15, 2015, 06:44:28 AM »
Get to go sheep hunting this November with my uncle!  He drew the selah butte any ram tag, the same uncle that drew a dayton bull tag a few years ago with 4 pts and killed a 360" on the last day...I need to start putting in as a group with him.  I don't think we're going to hunt the reds/Eaton ranch but not positive. Anyone have any info they can help us out with? We have maps on the way. Thanks!

Plenty of public land to find a ram,  Have a gps with the maps so  you know where you are.   Red's took over sheep hunting a couple years ago and charge $1500 the last i heard.  I hunted it with my cousin a couple years ago.   Fun hunt just like any sheep hunt is.

quite a bit of info on this unit on this board.  Enjoy the hunt and the experience,  its not all about the inches which is a good thing as selah butte isnt known for monster rams.  It'll still be an awesome experience and one that thousands on here wish they could have.
