lol,Why dont they do a study that makes sense? You know like study how many people that have firearms get robbed. If gun owners had signs on their front door that had a sign.WARNING resident has firearms burglars would steer clear.Do a study on people with firearm shirts and stickers and such on that get robbed.Do a study on how many get robbed in gun free zones verses free 2nd Amendment zones.

Sorry doesnt work with their agenda.  :chuckle:

Yahoo is great for promoting their anti-gun agenda. They never seem to ever have a pro gun article or at least recognize a person who can legally own a firearm for their own use.

They say that there are more guns in the states with the highest gun crime rates. Note that this is reflective of the fact that the highest gun crime states are also the most heavily populated. The "statistic" doesn't refer to a per capita % of residential gun ownership, but simply the number of guns. This would make sense. In a state like CA, there are many thousands more guns in private ownership than in the state of AR. However, the per capita ownership in AR is far higher than in CA. The same holds true for NYC, DC, Chicago, Philadelphia, etc. This would tend to point out that the states which have a higher per capita gun ownership have a lower per capita gun crime occurrance. Statistics need to be manipulated carefully to show the population that guns are bad.
