Nice Blacktail in velvet this morning
« on: June 15, 2015, 12:52:37 PM »
Even though I hunt eastern washington for deer it was cool to see this western washington black tail buck and another this morning growing in their velvet in snohomish county. Would love to see other pics people are seeing of the deer in velvet.

That guy is a stud!

Check out the Photo, Trail Cam forum for other Blacktails in velvet.  Several new ones recently.

Holy smokes! Nice buck! He still has two and a half months of growing to do!
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

I'm thinking he must be a bit benchleg.  That's a heck of a rack.

Buck is about done growing...he will finish out with a few more inches and thats it. People think all deer grow the whole summer. Some start fast and put very little on after and some start slow and pack the inches on come july
