Quinault Spring Bear
« on: June 15, 2015, 01:43:39 PM »
Pictures of my Spring Bear I took on the Quinault Friday evening. Measured right at 6' Nose to Tail, 18 1/8" Skull. Estimated weight around 285 lbs. I shot him at 9pm just before dark. Doing the Hunt solo (Had the GF tagging along) I didn't get him packed out to truck until almost Midnight. His hide was in great shape on the front, his back end has tree rubs that worked his hide pretty good.. I think I will do a chest mount with his front arms. The bulk of this bear was all upfront. The .35 Remington did the trick with a beautiful pass through chest shot shot at 93 yards.

Notice his peel tree in the back, he was covered in Sap and Sryup!  8)
