I'm amazed at how many guys on this site are using Burris and Simmons scopes on their rifles. Seems a lot of the rifles that show up in our classifieds have these scopes on them, what am I missing with these?
What's wrong with Burris? I've been using them on magnum rifles for over ten years without a problem. They have a lifetime warrant, the glass is clear and the scopes are tough.

I'm a Burris fan, have 10x50 binos and 3 rifle scopes. I will upgrade the binos to Swaros some day, but until then they will work. Not a Simmons fan, including the Redfields made by Simmons.

I still own the Burris, I would rate it lower middle of the road in quality, but I no longer own any Simmons and will not own any again, I think they are bottom of the barrel compared to most other brands.
