4th year the big guy has been around
« on: June 17, 2015, 10:49:36 PM »
He's back, easy to identify with the notch in his left ear.  Looks like he will finish off with a bit more mass than last year. Also two more of the four bucks that came through this morning. The buck I did not get pictures of has 4" spikes.

Wow, he's going to be nice.   He's a trophy for a lot of other reasons too.   Nice age class.

Gorgeous bucks.  Really nice camera work too.  Great post!

The tail on that last one is partially obscured by out of focus grass between him and me.

As hard as it is, these guys will not get hunted. They are the yard deer. Shooting something that chases apples down the driveway when I roll them is not hunting to me, no matter how big they get. These are deer that are very used to people, but I am sure someone will try to get them since they are so visible, even in a no hunting area.
