I hate you!!!!!!!!!!
That tag will be nuts.. I hunted the hell out of whole area when I had the Margaret tag last year.. Make sure you're in shape, and I mean, IN SHAPE. Also, id bring 2 or 3 (at least) with you on the hunt, BELIEVE ME. I hunted it by myself, killed my bull 10 miles back, shot my bull at 8am, the crew got to me at 10pm that night, and we were back to the parking lot at Coldwater at 8am the next day.. Hunt of a lifetime, but you better be prepared. Let me know if you need pointers??

Lucky guy only three tags this year right? I also had the Margaret tag last year and saw about all of the elk area... Unique country. it will be a blast if your in hiking shape! Might be harder to close the deal with the oct season dates but they should be screaming! Norway pass trail is a great hike and a must do on one of your scouting trips... But not the best way to access the better part of the unit imo. Good luck and Congrats!

I wouldn't suggest going in from Coldwater. That's about the hardest way to get there I think.
When I did that hunt I took my SPOT satellite messenger with me. Then once I dropped my elk I texted the meat hauling party. I headed out with the first load and they met me at the trail head and we went in to get the rest.
