Kind of been going back and forth myself on what I might do this year. Thought I would throw it out there for discussion.  :archery_smiley:

Don't you have a moose tag in your pocket?  And you throw this nonsense up on the board.  Hahahahaha

Moose... it's soon to be what's for dinner.  :IBCOOL:

Now see what you did, I'm thinking about moose again.

I'm trying to be diversified.

Lol that was funny.

I don't know enough about that area yet to know that my question was dumb.

No way I would switch to 342. That gmu plus surrounding gmu's is so low on harvest rates it pathetic. Have you not seen deer reports before deer seasons start. I live in 342 gmu and hunt in Winthrop area.

No way am I switching.

Just do a search on Swakane.  There are multiple threads talking about 180" deer around every other corner, the trouble is getting past all of the 165" deer to get a shot at one of the 180" deer.  Not to mention it is not that uncommon to see 2 or 3 200 plus inch deer in a day at a distance.

I hear the roads used to be bad in Swakane but they closed and gated all of those bad ones off for "safety" reasons.   :chuckle:
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

i'll gladly drive to the swakane and hunt bucks than stay home and see very few deer in 336 or 342.  No comparison in my book.
Tule, the other white meat.
