Ghost I would recommend at least 2 "break in burns" I only did one and it still have off an odor inside the the tent. After the second I didn't notice much of a smell. Perhaps my first wasn't long/hot enough. Just a thought.
Set up 7 minutes.

Wish my stove had that to keep embers from popping through. I have to put a piece of steel down under the front legs to keep the floor from getting burned. I am still in the search as to floor protection. Guy on another thread bought a roll up hearth. Been looking for something like bq Matt. Have not made up my mind yet.http://www.snowtrekkertents.com/wintergear.html

Well the best thing I found in my area was a BQ Mat at Lowes . Which dose t roll up but lays flat in the bed of my truck. It is fire and heat resistant and made o be used under all common BQ.It smelled a little when I got it ,but left it out side and the smell went away.My buddy bought the roll up kind with his stove. But says he is switching to what I have.I might buy one more.
Just got mine the other day. Four dog with table and water tank. He sent me an extra set of 90 degree and one extra straight piece. I called and he said consider it a gift and not to mail back. I took that time to thank him for the craftsmanship and effort applied to his product. He reciprocated. Great company Great stoves!!
